Izabela Paszko defended her PhD Thesis in 2023 at LMU Munich. She also worked as a doctoral researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Contemporary History Munich-Berlin. Her PhD thesis concerns the topic of informal communication in occupied Poland. In her current project, she investigates non-human factors that affect the processes of creating and maintaining history exhibitions related to the Second World War and the Holocaust. Besides working on a postdoctoral project, she is drafting her book manuscript. Ms Paszko has received fellowships from the German Historical Institute in Warsaw, the Institute for Western Affairs in Poznan, and the Leopold-Kretzenbacher-Fellowship. Between January and March 2024, she is a Visiting Scholar at the University of Cambridge.
