Project House Europe
Project House Europe (PHE) at LMU Munich promotes interdisciplinary research on the history of Europe. Established in 2020, PHE focuses on the inter- and transnational history of Europe since 1918, particularly on forms of cooperation and integration along with their crises.
Our mission is to foster innovative, cutting-edge research on Europe. Anchored in the study of history, the center seeks to promote research on Europe that transcends both disciplinary and national boundaries. Through our Fellowship Program, we establish PHE as a forum for international scholarly exchange. Moreover, we seek to contribute to public debates about the challenges Europe faces today by engaging with the transformations it has undergone in the past.
