Since October 2020, Julia Lange is a research associate in the research project "Radical Utopian Communities: Global Histories from the Margins, 1900-1950".
Her doctoral project focuses on analysing anarchist-influenced communal projects of the early 20th century in China and Spain from a global historical perspective as part of a worldwide anarchist network. She particularly focuses on how these projects dealt with the compatibility of education and employment.
