CALM 2.0 - Cambridge-LMU Junior Scholar Exchange Programme
Building on the success of CALM - Cambridge-LMU Collaboration in the Contemporary History of Global Europe, PHE has implemented a next stage of this collaboration in the framework of the Cambridge-LMU strategic partnership.
In the academic year 2023-24, CALM 2.0 supports a visiting period at the partner university for PhD students or early postdoctoral researchers for up to 3 months. During this period, the visiting scholars will be integrated into the academic life of the host institution and, with the advice of a supervisor, prepare an application for a postdoctoral programme in the host institution.
The aim of this programme is to support early career researchers at a crucial stage, i.e. the end of their PhD or the early postdoctoral phase, in internationalising their experience, in becoming acquainted with international funding opportunities and in developing a new research project.
